Updating Driver
ok, i know this isn't directly related to toribash, but i want to update my driver so i can play the newer versions of tb and get it so that the menu actually works for me.

i just want to know exactly how to do that. i want to be 100% sure that im doing it right and it doesn't screw up my computer.

i have the setup file, but before i run it, i want to make sure that there isnt anything else that i need to do. i really don't wanna screw up my computer, so wat do i do? just run it?

thanks in advance. ^_^

If you're 100% sure you have the RIGHT driver (right version, for the right OS, right videocard etc) then all you do is uninstall your previous versions and install the driver. Then it should all be pretty simple.

In the worst case scenario it'll tell you that you don't have the hardware & it'll abort before changing any settings.

It'll just replace it, and mark the old one as a previous driver & set the new one as current.

DO NOT uninstall your current one just in case you got the wrong one.
Updates usually overwrite the others.

You go into your computer management (right click my computer > manage) and you find your video adapter and go into the properties of that, it'll tell you the driver version and what card you have. Then to find the updated drivers you go to the manufacturer's website and find the drivers for your card, and if the version number is more recent, download and install... pretty simple once you've done it once.
