You make a good point with that, man. But as a society we have to have standards, even if this IS just about the real incident with the monkey, it killed an old lady. I know this is the internet and all and everyone has to be tough as nails on here, but really there is nothing ok about this.
@jaredvcxz: Possibly, but probably not. Then again that is a whole other can of worms. After all, thousands of innocent people haven't died under Obama... yet. So he doesn't really have as much scorn directed at him.

The bottom line is that if people would wake up and realize that this was just satirizing congress and the recent monkey incident, they wouldn't be upset. They aren't pissed because it's a tasteless joke, they're pissed because their convinced it's racist. Because fucking EVERYTHING is racist now. For christ's sake, I even encountered plenty of people telling me if I didn't support Obama I was a fucking racist. That's how paranoid our country is about racism.
And on your other little side note, Obama just sent thousands more troops into Afghanistan...not that it matters, I mean after all the liberal american media wouldn't want THAT to get spread around too much; can't be saying anything bad about Obama, now.

So you're restating the point I made earlier that everyone is a little racist? Or are you just saying that to be concerned about racism is racist? This cartoon, whether or not it makes you happy, had an impact on Americas racial climate.
