this would obviously be directed at the artists in the toribash community.

As an artist(toribash based) who/what inspired/inspires you to start making art? textures, renders, whatever really... and why?

curios to see who inspired the older artists

for me it would be a combination of 4 people/things

1: ManTrain. made my first head, and is in my honest oppinion, the most talented artist in TB. Been around since the stone ages when it comes to TB.
love him to bits. in a way only understood by RAWRians ofcourse =D

2: werd: those crisp heads of his... stylised, minimalistic, and scream epic. o try to get those aspects into my work aswell, still trying to get the epic part right tho, lol

3: nuthug: convinced me to take up texturing at the start. criticized my work to shit, still does as often as he can. wouldnt be were i am without him (/sentimental)

4: Im a competitive sonofabitch

the tribals just came as a result of supply and demand, no real inspiration there, i just understood the style...

1. Hanz0: always seemed to have the best texture making skills when I first joined up.

2. BenDover: second best (insert into above reason)

3. Nasuke: his tori-guitar render really wow'd me.

4. FoodEater: bro, I have no freiking clue how you can use blender so well. bravo.

1. Zaarock, the ultimate logo designer, everything I make is basically my try at getting closer to his style.

2. MacPerfect, he makes great logos and graphics, I love his style as well.

3. Probably Mrama, he inspired me to make my Dragon Electric set. :o

4. Drakhir, again, like Zaarock he makes awesome Logos but his graphics are also astounding.

1) MacPerfect, Uhum is design is awsome,he is good at logos...

2) Gorman, He..is...good !!! at renders he is...teh best

3) Coke, Texture awesomness,and he have some good experience in renders.

4) Stup, Heh,most of you know BBtori series,so yea...C4D GOD.

--This guys mostly made be to make renders,but Blender don't want me to learn so yea,i still try *even call ?!*

1. Hanz0. His textures are so minimalistic, yet great. It's amazing.
2. Mrama inspires me with his wild shading skills.
3. Nasuke. The guitar-tori render put me in awe as well. That combined with his textures was awesome.
4. FoodEater inspires me to learn Blender. I will try sometime, I promise!

People that inspired me to start making vids:

1: Skulfuk. This was because he was making a few vids for me before i started making them for myself, and without him i wouldnt have realised that people liked my replays, so i wouldnt have started vid-making

2: Rutzor. I think it was Brownie that really inspired me to start vid-making, since he could make his tori do anything he wanted, and made incredible vids.

3: CheZDa. Do i really need to say why?

4.FNugget. Twist and Shout, plain and simple, best torivid out there. He's what made me want to start to 'break the rules', and make vids without drum and bass etc.

1.) iGod, most of you probably dont know/remember him but he was a beginner texturerer when I joined TB, his always optimistic attitude, no matter what happened, just inspired me to take Texturing as an Option.

2.) The TAT, the first art org that I ever tried out for, they really opened my eyes to see how my art work stood in the minds of the best artist in TB.

3.) Moop/Rutz/Mosier , Really without their vids I wouldnt be playing Toribash right now, their skill to manipulate their tori's in whatever way they like is simply no where short of amazing.

4.) ManTrain, was probably born from the artist gods and sent down to bless us with his amazing texturing/handrawn/Art skills, he just simply amazes me even up till today.

5.) Mapleleaf, his designs are truly epic, mainly everyone of my textures are just to try and keep up with him.

6.) Hanz0, I always try to keep up with his minimalistic/simple style most of his work inspires me to keep going.

There is a distinct lack of Cevius in your lists, madness ;o
