Some corrections.
Number three is A Day in the Life (Not Day in the Life)
Number ten is When I'm Sixty-Four (Not 64)
That being said, your list is bad. Help sucks, Love Me Do sucks, Hard Day's Night sucks, and 64 isn't good enough to be there. Lennon was a FAR superior songwriter to Paul. George's stuff was also epic. The Beatles' more mature music can be found on later albums, not to say that their old stuff wasn't good though, as I Want To Hold Your Hand was that generation's Smells Like Teen Spirit.
Here's my top ten, and thanks for the useful thread, which is unusual for you to post.
1. A Day in the Life
2. Strawberry Fields Forever
3. Golden Slumbers/Carry that Weight/The End
4. Tomorrow Never Knows
5. I Am The Walrus
6. I Want To Hold Your Hand
7. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
8. Hey Jude
9. Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)
10. Let It Be
Bubbling Under:
Across the Universe
All You Need is Love
Hello Goodbye
The Long and Winding Road
Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds
I Me Mine
Come Together
Something
Oh Darling
Yea, that was a lot bubbling under, but The Beatles are a tad to big to fit in a 10 choice list.
