most of my replays are made in one go.
here are 10 important things to remember, in no particular order:
1. Always hit directly at joints. They are move likely to break
2. Always hit square. Hits that deflect or bounce off are less likely to break.
3. Try to get as much windup as possible. eg. When going for a grab/rip, don't start near the target.
4. Weakened joints break easier. Hit the one that is most red.
5. If you are trying to break many/all of the joints, work from the outside in. Chasing limbs down isn't fun.
6. The ground can also be used for slamming things into.
7. Smashing the opponent into himself is very effective, but you must turn self-damage on.
8. Interspersing kicks and grabs, etc. makes your replay look better, and gives you more opportunities for breaks.
9. Combine # 4 and #8. Hitting with one limb followed closely by another is an effective way to weaken, then break.
10. If you want a lot of points, the head and upper body give you more. Try using #7 with the head. It also breaks things well.
