You'd be right, except that where U2 has adapted many different styles of music (those which I mentioned above), Coldplay has yet to do so. Rather, they have maintained a brit-pop soft rock style since their inception.

And the list of U2 albums I gave wasn't necessarily their best, but rather one that illustrated differences in their music. :3
