great clans
HI, I was just wondering, how to get good and popular clan with reputation.

I know that first it must be started there as [DSC]ClanName then with these rules pay 50k to become official etc etc.

But I want ask how to maintenance the clan to get as good clan like [RelaxAll] [Rawr] etc.
I want know how to get good members(well, RelaxAll and Rawr have many skiled members) good activity on board (I saw many clans that failed by inactivnes) etc.
I want to get some tips maybe or something how maintenance...

How did all these great clans started with that all?

PS: I made this thread here because I think that it might have good potential to be discussed.
Most of the clans that you are talking about are pretty old, most of them older then a year.
I think the best way to gain reputation for a new clan is to recruit low belts, and then grow with them.
Like if you are a white or yellow belt, recruit other white or yellow belts.
Then by the time your clan hits black belt, you should have a decent reputation among your generation of players.
Also, you forgot [inq] in your list of great clans.

I think toribash skill or belts don't really matter, a good clan consists of cool people with good personalities. Like, I'd much rather be in a clan with only black belts that aren't idiots than in a master belt only clan that consists of mahulks and theblazes.

please cite information to back up your claim that [RAWR] is a great clan

I believe the oldest clans currently are bncy, MAD, Torigod, and spirit. All of these are invite only (some of them abnormally so, some of them just in action), and all except spirit were around before I joined two and a half years ago.

The primary tip is that: If you don't know what you're doing, that's fine. However, you probably want to avoid democracies and pick good co-leaders if you're going to make your own clan.
Squad Squad Squad lead?
The standardization of Toribash Squad roles may have gone too far!

They're the oldest, unless you're counting the dead clans such as Evil and SMASH that haven't actually been officially killed and deleted, for reasons unknown to me.
Also Guru is ancient, but still very much alive.

My advice is take your time with your clan, there is no rush to crank it out.
Pick members who you get along well with, and who everyone else in the clan gets along with, trusts and respects.
This way the clan will hopefully remain loyal to each other.
This loyalty is, in my opinion what makes a clan great. If you look at all the rosters of the clans people describe as great, you will see that they have barely changed, if at all from how it was when the clan first started out, aside from a few extra recruits as the clan grows.

Also, just like how steveirwin said, most clans grew in the game playing with each other. When RAWR was started back in the day, myself, MANtrain, NutHug and BenDover were ALL white belts, and that's the truth.
Also, it just takes time to build up respect within a community, it won't happen instantly, you just gotta be patient with everything and shit will happen... Eventually.

Good luck with your clan.
