ok i got irc but then it comes up now you have had 31 day trial. and i have to register for 20 dollars. my pc has a blocknig thing now which blocks irc. does anyone no how i can get irc working.

That blocking thing must be your firewall.
Go to control panel>system>firewall and disable it, then it wont block your IRC anymore.

Also thats mIRC probably what you have, thats why you have a 31 trial, dont worry it will work after 31 days too, you will just have to wait a bit at the starting screen.
Also you can try other irc clients too like xchat, ice chat, chatzilla, kvirc etc.

ok the 31 day trial thing i dont get. my pc doesnt block. the irc thing comes up i have had my 31 day evaluation then i click continue then i click continue again. then it comes up the thing were u put your name in. then i click connect and nothing comes up

Hmm that should work though.
Well you need to reinstall it, but only reinstalling wont work,y ou need to clear your application data (its located in my documents/your username and its a hidden folder).
Delete the mirc folder from there (you can save your logs and such things) then reinstall it.
That should get the 31 day evaluation again.

ok i went onto my documents but what do you mean my username. there is no folder with my username on it. could u give me some more clear instructions im not that good with a pc

Go to cdocuments and settings\[username] (that if you have windows XP installed)
Then go to View\folder options and check "Show hidden filed and folders" press ok and you should see some folders what are transparent.
One of them should be named "Application data".
Get in it and search for a folder named mirc (that if you are using mIRC as irc client).
In it you can save your logs (that contains your past conversations on different rooms, just save the Logs folder somewhere).
And delete the mirc folder from there, then uninstall mirc.
Install it again and you will ahve the 31 day trial again.
