You want to have wealth and excess. Look at the peacock. He attracts a mate by using extra energy to hold up the biggest, heaviest tail. By showing off the big tail, he is saying "I'm tough and kill shit, also I have extra food. Sleep with me." This is similar to rappers throwing away money in music videos or you buying an expensive car/house or just paying for dinner.

hey hey hey, come on now, give women some credit here. Yes there are MANY women out there who are like that, but there are also MORE THAN PLENTY women out there who dont care about money.
In fact most women I know are more concerned about the person. Money plays a role (but it does for men also) but on the whole they will always be more interested in the person. This is because women are people also :P and therefor a bit more sophisticated than peacocks.

Yeah, but to attract women (or men, if you're a woman) you need to have pretty looks, and in todays modern culture, that means expensive shit. If you don't have that, you don't attract initial interest. Spend as much as possible to make yourself "beautiful", that's what it's about.
