So by that reasoning, your classmate was warned, repeated his fault and got punished for it. That's the way the world works exept usually you don't get the warning, be grateful.
I personally know several school teachers (including my mom) and you would not believe how their life is after school.
Probably your classmate's incident by a teacher's point of view would have been completely different. Also, you must imagine that the fact that they went through all their diplomas and lame jobs just to teach some ungrateful little idiots who don't want to learn and that are going to screw up their future is a sign of great kindness and dedication. Don't believe they do it for the money because with a teacher's education, you would get like double salary by working for a private company. For instance, I'm sure your geography teacher would be very happy working for a gas company but he doesn't just because he knows his job is important.
