Here you will find that the creator of these replays slowed it down a bit and took 'little steps' instead of long strides.
Anyway. I would suggest making use of your running before trying to get slower.

You couldn't set it manually for sure. There was classic.tbm and sambo.tbm which had high gravity. So you could switch only between -9.82 and -30.
I'm not sure if sambo.tbm was already made when Patrick made the walking replay.
But anyway. Running is better.
