You just completely missed what I said. I said that it was a law where they used to live. I never mentioned Britain.

Many Mulsims intepret a passage or two from the Qur'an (Holy Book) to mean that women should wear burqas. Ergo, it is religious.
It was required to be worn during a raid because of the Qur'an, not worn at all times. Apparently the men decided that it was better to just make them wear them all the time.
