If youre going to buy a gun that's less than $30, you have nothing to worry about.
If youre going to buy one that costs $250, that's a different story. Ive seen someone lose a tooth, Ive seen someone having a bb dug out of his face.
I agree 100%. I don't really think that a person starting out buying an airsoft gun should have one that costs 250$, but rather one that is 50$ or less, so that they can get used to the gun, and learn all of the safety lessons (or whatever)
