I'm pretty sure I just lol'd.
ONTOPIC: I never have been banned via Toribash, got VAC Banned on steam for playing TF2 with a Valve designer and getting a hugely lucky Demoman kill, which led to him thinking I was hacking.
He banned me.
Luckily, I got unbanned, I showed him proof etc.
The banning message:
"You have been VAC banned for the following reason: hackign ingame."
They spelt it wrong, the stoopeed people ^.^
