Islam and Christianity are almost identical ;)

Also, Christian/Catholic Dark Ages: no one seems to care after 1500 years of complete and total stagnation.

They have the same origin, so naturally the dogmas have many similarities.
However, modern Islam fuels more apparent violence than modern Christianity. I don't see many Christians scream "hallelujah" and resort to raw violence when someone dares to step on their religion. Latest gem:
