You idiot jxc, did you even read the article you quoted?

Your own goddamn quote says that the arecibo message would take 25,000 to reach the star cluster. Hell, by the time the messages reaches them, they'll be won't even be there anymore.

And your argument against fish is ridiculous, all he's stating is that it's logical to assume that it was done by humans, not that there are no alien life forms.

Who said the species who received the message were at the star cluster? Thy could have intercepted it from any location.

And the Fish thing, he states:
Humans are the only ones who use languages, text or art to communicate.

I assume he means on earth, but I'm more than sure that there are more species in the universe that communicate with languages, text, or art. He's addressing a question that was never asked: "Out of all the species on earth, which could have created these crop circles?"
That's why I brought up the other possible intelligent species.

Oh, and, criticize the argument, not the arguer. It just makes you seem less credible.

That's debate 101. =/
Thanks.

Lets look at earth, a planet with billions of intelligent life forms. Now lets say some person has a field. This person who owns the field is a farmer with a lawn mower and various other resources required to make crop circles.
Suddenly a crop circle appears on some guys field.

So what now, do we assume that it was aliens that aren't even on this planet. Am I supposed to believe that it was some creature trillions of galaxies away?

This is stupid, everyone knows the farmer could have easily done it.

And then what happens, more crop circles appear. All over the world at random times. Who else is all over the world with the ability to do this? Hmmm maybe the farmers who own the paddocks with all their tools for harvesting crops.

Its clearly man made. Any other assumption is illogical, especially when you know that people could easily do this.
