Disc Problems
Well, who would like to hear the best story ever? Ok, so I recently put about 6-7 gb of files on to two DVD-R discs that took me about 6 hours because of all the stupid non-premium download waits. Anyways, I burn the files to the discs using Cyberlink Power2Go burner and they burn just fine. I delete the files off of my computer to save some space and I used them on the disc for awhile. Then, the next day I take them to my friends house use them there and they work perfectly fine there. I bring them back home put them in the drive and no files show up. Go to properties and it says that there are 0 bytes of free space and 0 bytes of used space. Someone please tell me how to get these files back!

then theres nothing on the disk.
you must have "cut" the stuff off the disk rather than "copied".

go to your friends house and make a new copy.

it's either that or your dvd drive is picky as to which discs it likes. alot of drives don't like memorex brand discs. your files should very well be there it's just that you might have to take the disc out, clean it, and put it back in (perhaps a couple times) before the files show up
You don't say?
Hmmmm, tried that. I think it might be scratches on the back. I took it to my friends house today and it worked but I think my laptop is having trouble reading the scratched disc and I think his desktop maybe has a more powerful disc reader that can read through scratched discs. IDK but at least I got my files back. Thanks guys!
