I dunno what I'm doing wrong, I install the newest Toribash and when I start the game the text in the menu is all jagged and unreadable - in a multiplayer match you can't make out letters at all.... can anybody help me?

I don't know exactly what you mean unless you post a screenshot, but try updating drivers.

Drivers are updated, but here's a screenshot from Options screen and In Game multiplayer. Results are the same in fullscreen and windowed.

I guess I was wrong -- there was indeed a graphics update for my video card. However, after updating, the problem remained the same.

change the mipmapping on your graphics card to quality, I had this problem with another game and changed the mipmapping to quality and looked fine after.

What card is it? Depending on the card, certain programs come with the card that overide all 3D settings in games. In this case, I think it would be the bitmap detail. Find something along the lines of that in the program, and turn it to maximum detail. If it's catalyst control center, go to 3D settings, and raise all of the settings to maximum detail.
