I think you're over stressing the importance of hard drive space there, really for Toribash CPU and GPU are the major factors, you don't need a very big or fast HDD nor a lot of RAM, Toribash mostly uses the CPU for physics solving and the GPU for rendering, RAM to store textures (which take up very little space) and then a good internet connection to play online. The amount of RAM you need is more dependent on operating system and other applications for the computer, for instance through WINE and linux you could probably be absolutely fine with 1GB or less of RAM, but on windows you'll end up needing at-least 2GB to support the OS, and if you leave your computer on for long periods of time you'll need more. On my computer Toribash takes up less than 100MB's of RAM when running multi-player. In other words, the rest of the computer doesn't matter that much to Toribash, just your OS.
