Zombies.... And what to do.
yes I know there has been countless zombie threads in the past but those have seemed to fade away..

Anyway the question im asking is..


And what would you do if it happened/What would be your first plan of action and how would you defend yourself.

What are you asking?

If there was a Zombie running towards me to get his daily meal..
I would run to safety (tall building, island, etc..), get supplies, get ammo & go on a zombie hunting trip
(And watch "Zombieland" one more time to make sure I'm not missing anything)

Take note of the fact that Jesus has just posted on this thread. I find it incredibly amusing.

Now I've planned out this shit (because I'm nerdy and paranoid like that), and realized one simple truth: If you don't have the supplies and guns already, chances are you won't get it later. Walmarts and Targets and grocery stores and gun stores will be raided pretty darn fast (usually by the people already inside them), one, leaving little supplies for the slower people, and two, creating a very tempting spot for zombies to congregate due to mass hysteria and panic leading people to rush to said locations. If it's infection type, you just created a giant biohazard stew pot. If it's dead type, you risk stampeding somebody and, low and behold, you now have a zombie in your midst.

That being said, it matters what type of zombie it is. Though you won't have any clear knowledge of what to expect because all zombie information is fiction. No documented cases of an actual zombie attack leave you clueless on what to expect. The most reasonable assumption is to assume that they will act like a mob that is trying to kill just you. And that's not a very easy scenario to practice with, so its best to just be prepared with food and supplies, then learn along the way.

I would propably be terryfied and trying first to run and then maybe kill it ...

Well this is a failproof plan.

1. Steal a boat
2. Steal supplies and tools required to survive in the wilderness.
3. Get more survivers.
4. Go on an island unpopulated by humans, or just populated by too few humans.

Zombies can't swim hence you are safe and you saved humanity from peril as a species.

My plan is similar. I'll somehow make it to a lone abandoned island that has good resources. I'll try to forget about everything that happened prior to this and start a new life. I would punch down trees so that I could get wood and make stuff with it. I'm sure I'd be able to make a pic axe or something for making some stone weaponry and tools. After finding coal with my now stone pic axe, I would build a shelter. Lit by the torches I made with coal mean animals wouldn't want to give birth near it. Then, at night, I'd hear the moans of the zombies and remember the life I had before this, perhaps my family, but then I'd snap out of it and hide in my shelter and then sleep the night while hearing many moans from outside. After I awoke I would hear sounds that sounded like a zombie in pain. I figure it must be because the zombies swam, more like sank and drifted in the ocean for so long, that their skin was so weakened that they now catch on fire from the sun. I also examine that some are so badly water damaged that they're just bones, though they know how to use a bow and arrow. Shortly after all of this and many more days of surviving I would discover a mineral I like to call red stone. I figure out how to make stuff from the life I had prior to this, like a watch, and a computer. Eventually I would fuck up and fall into a deep hole and die, but it's not the destination that matters, it's the journey that gets you there.

To much Minecraft. Everyone knows that Zombie doesn't spawn from nothing, they eat other humans and other humans are changing into monsters! Right? Um.. right? Tell me i am right and zombies exist?!
