In a moment like that I'm not going to go take a brochure of every boat and pick the finest one.. It is believed Zombies cant swim so taking a boat to an island would be safest in many cases.

What if theres no food and a small amount of food on the island?
What if somehow zombies are smart enough to drive boats?like in resident evil 5 or 4 or whatever. they could drive trucks,motorcycle,shoot guns mostly anything a human could do

The world would turn into "Survival of the Fittest".
Of course the chances of someone who doesn't know shit about living in the wild, with only your clothes and what's in your pockets, will be much smaller than someone who can at least lit a fire.
