well shovel is when you lift then push your opponent out of the dojo yeah the move is cheap but can make you win in tourneys
shovel, to literally pick someone up and shove them out of the ring. what it isn't is when you don't do that.
THIS WAS ORIGINALLY THE WORST SIGNATURE EVER, FOR YOUR SAKE IT WAS FIXED. ~ Vox
In theory, something close to this :

Turn 1 : Lower shoulders / Contract pecs.
Turn 2 : Raise shoulders / Grab

In practice :

1. Get lifted out of the dojo.
2. Call him a shoveler.
3. ? ? ?
4. Profit.

(only exagerating a bit.)

A lift is where you manage to bring them off the ground and cause them to dq outside of the ring. A shovel is just where you do that at the beginning of the match, which basically gives them almost no way to stay in.

1. Lift. Fairly lift an opponent at a random point in the match (other than the beginning)

2. Shovel. Unfairly lift an opponent out of the dojo in the beginning.
Why is it unfair to lift someone in the beginner, and fair to lift them at the end? Why is it different to put your opponent in a position of no control later in the match than it is to try to in the beginning?

It is unfair (to some) to lift someone at the beginning of the match because it decreases their chances of winning from the start.
Many people decide to pout about it, not realizing that nothing could be done about it and to just get over it.
BAD LUCK

Wrong
Lift is lifting opponent in air. And doing whatever there. Have sex etc.
Shovel is that you lift opponent in air, and push him outside the ring. It doesn't have to be at the beginning.
It's All About Expansion
Because being lifted later in the match can be avoided.
But at the beginning is almost inevitable. It can be stopped with proper use of skill. But usually, you'll have to know that they'll shovel you in the first place.
