Haha, next time you suggest a topic, try not to word the "facts" so extremely biasly!

This is not about legality, it is about ethics...

Anonymous have been declared the voice of the people by many people, even those that are not Anons.
After having examined what Facebook does do, and yeah, it does seem very unethical, and it does seem like they deliberately hid it. I mean, 4chan is required to report to the FBI, but because they broadcast it that makes it not a problem.

As usual, the voice of hundreds of thousands of Anons have collaborated and found an issue that is worth fixing.
And as usual, it is worth supporting.

I wasn't presenting them as facts, merely as my perception. Although I do love the word "biasly."

Illegal activities are themselves unethical. What you seem to be forgetting is that what Anonymous does is outlawed, and that they are trying to dictate their laws to businesses.
I realize that what facebook is doing might be wrong. I also realize that Anonymous has no proof to support their accusation that information about me is going to Syria.

And these make up, uh...how much of the population?

I'm not defending facebook. I'm arguing that Anonymous shouldn't be the group to handle it. The government should.

But they shouldn't be the ones to fix it! They are vigilantes. Doing illegal activities in the name of a chosen sample of the internet. It's not ethical, regardless of facebook's misconduct.

Hm, I have to disagree with you there. Illegal activities can be ethical, and legal activities can be unethical. I guess that is why there are separate words for them.

America has a habit of looking out for businesses rather than the people.

I have no problem with vigilantes that do what the government should.

Wrong.

Ask me why.

Facebook has had it's share of vulnerabilities.

I think Anon would be better off if they hacked Facebook incognito, placed new code into the servers which qualifies persons for bounties, then expose them and let the bounties be reaped by the thousands.

Responsible Disclosure Bounty (USD 500) awarded to those who:
- Report a bug that could compromise the integrity or privacy of Facebook user data, such as:

    *
      Cross-Site Scripting (XSS)
    *
      Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF/XSRF)
    *
      Remote Code Injection
- Reside in a country not under US sanction
Currently in agreement with Gorman on all accounts.

What a terribly stupid thing to say, if you're going to make your point, make it. I'd like to hear it.
