This is a fun thing that we used to do at a forum I used to moderate at. The idea is that each person posts a quote, along with which number it is. Citation is not necessary, nor is it necessary for the quote to be well known, it could just be something funny you or your friend said. The idea is to see how quickly you can get 1,000 quotes. For example:
