Gaddafi
So he's dead.

What are your opinions on this?

Do you think that he should have been brought to justice and trialed, or just shot?

Do you think this will be the end of the violence in Libya, or will his supporters/descendants continue his legacy?

Will the de-facto government thing be successful, or fall to a new dictator (something not unprecedented in broken middle eastern nations)

The UN Human Rights Office and Amnesty International are calling for a probe into exactly how Muammar Gaddafi died. New authorities say the burial of his body will be delayed so the investigation can be conducted.
And I think he suicided
Atleast Libya is free and some of my fellow Filipinos are free

What? No... He didn't "suicided". He was shot immediately when he was found. He didn't die of the initial shot but he passed away later on from his injuries.

His death is a relief for NATO,UN and other Peace Organizations
but I still respect Ghaddafi
He would've resigned but he thought that without his leadership
Rebels/Communists would rule his country so I respect him for that
but He abused his power and ruled Libya for Decades.

He did not suicide he got shot
some revolutionary fighters saw him and dragged him out of a
drainage pipe where he was hiding
and showed him no mercy even if he begged
not to kill his sons and him

He should've been put in prison for lifetime. Not killed.

It will definetely not be the end of violence. There is always going to be some bad guy. His supporters will most likely try to avenge him, but they have no chance of successing. They're outnumbered. This isn't over yet, just because the main character is dead. But it's the first step.

It won't fall to a new dictator. Not for a long time. The lybian people now have a taste of freedom. They will do everything they can to keep that, and so will the UN.

The USA is famous for among other things trying the Nazis after the WW, it is necessaries to hold a trial for any human, and should be considered a right inherent in living, while I empathise with people who want to see dictators killed, your level of thinking on this topic is incredibly base and ill-considered. It is inherently wrong to take someone's life.

Not really, take it into perspective and you will understand where the people are coming from. If someone killed your son, you would want him to be killed, eye for an eye style, i dont think you'd want to take him to court and give him a chance to get out of his punishment. I think it was a smarter thing to just kill him on the spot and give him no chance of escaping or getting around it. Dictators USUALLY end up killing people and in turn should be killed.
