Where are you from?
Yes, I know we have a bunch of active threads. However I've been watching that several topics about countries are going on. So... In a single post you must to tell us what country/region/city you live and what's good/bad in there.

I live in Brazil - in the extreme south of Brazil. Here is quite developed, I don't know exactly about economic measure, but our HDI - human development index - is pretty high comparing to the other brazilian states. And it combines an economic measure, national income, with other measures, indices for life expectancy and education system... By the way, southerners are divided, but separatism is gaining momentum as hopes fade that answers to their grievances. For example, I'd love that south of brazil became one beautiful country, without stereotypes about brazilians as well as I'd love to see... Well, I think this is not the correct place to argument about why I'd love to in another country.

We chat in portuguese. This is a wonderful language because this is pretty complicated [We have, for example, more than 7O verb variations]. Why's it good? Simple, we can express ourselves pretty well, and other languages - like english - is easier to learn. [I feel sorry for english speakers that tries learn portuguese] ah, and everyone who speaks portuguese knows spanish instinctively as a bonus.

I feel everyone [that's not brazilian] thinks we live in the hottest country of the world. Indeed, most of brazilians live in it, but the southerners no. Here we have a winter that usually reach zero degrees celcius... Irrelevant but most of us is white and I'm too lazy to continue it.

I'm from Palos Verdes, California in the States, (right above you Math)
Well the community I live in is right next to the ocean and is filled with tons of rich, spoiled kids. The community itself is nice, but the beaches are terribly polluted, we never get snow (i could be seen as a good thing but I love snow) and the people suck. Also, the school I go to is filled with white people and as I am half asian, I look completely Asian, which makes me stand out quite a bit... (Not as much as when I lived in Mexico or Florida though).
Wanna play some [CHESS]? <3

As if having too many active threads is bad lol

Alritey then.

I live in Florida, USA. West Palm Beach.

I like it because it is a popular state so we have Disney World, Busch Gardens, Wet n' Wild, and other famous amusement park chains. And on the coldest days in winter it is perfect temp.

It sucks mostly though. Where I live, you have to drive 20 minutes to get anywhere. So long car drives. Also, the heat is usually unbearable. In winter it isn't even usually cold, just less humid. Omg the humidity in summer is ridiculous. Makes you want to seal yourself inside with the AC on 60.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York and then moved to Japan and then later on moved to Australia.

Breakdown:
- Brooklyn smelled bad, I grew up in the whole "skate scene" so that's basically all I did. Also... Too many fat people lol.

- Japan had really friendly people, the streets were always crowded and the schools were way too formal... It was normally a happy place all together though, the girls were really pretty though... I hate competition

- Australia is nice I suppose, too hot for my liking though. In this area anyway. I hate that school uniforms are compulsory... They are so ugly here!

As for myself, apart from English I also speak Japanese and partial Latin.
Too lazy to write any more.

I grew up in the country of Australia where no one cared if you blew the doors off with a 20 gauge. Learnt how to drive up there when I was 9. It had the population of about 800 so things were peaceful. Moved down to Sydney where I adapted smoothly into it. Crowded, parties, outgoing people; things are good here but I'd rather be in the country smoking dope and work at a computer shop.
OH NO MY SIG IS BOLD AND CENTERED!!!

You? Lazy to write? I am shocked.

Anyway, interesting topic...
Well, as some of you already know, I am brazilian as well. You can tell by the fact that I kinda... lead the brazilian toribash org. Its in my sig etc. :v

It's quite a big country, and as such, it has many different regions and different... stuff.
Differently from Math, I'm in the southeast. Close to Sao Paulo, pretty famous city, you've probably heard about it. I actually go there occasionally, my dad works there...
Anyway, in here its decently developed, pretty much like the south region, where Math is. The other parts of Brazil can suck a bit.
But I mean the region. The city specifically is pretty small and has nothing cool to do, so I sometimes have to go to the closest "big" city when I want to go to a mall, to a night club, a bowling alley, or whatever. Actually, even a school. Since there's no good schools in here, I study in another city, where the schools are good.
If you're curious, my city's called "Piedade". That means "Pity". I live in Pity town. lol
Roses are orange, violets are green, I am colorblind and can't rhyme.

Eh, my history isnt a very impressive one.
I am from an Irish descent, but that has nothing to from where I grew up, nor does it mean I am some tiny little midget with orange hair and a pot of gold.
I grew up in San Diego, California right next to a small beach community. Went to a small Christian pre-school where I had to do alot of that normal Christian school stuff like being apart of Bible plays, praying before every meal, go to church once every week, etc. Then went to some small elementary school with, suprisingly, alot of eventful shit happened (If anyone is interested I will share it but not in this post.) For some off reason I never liked the beach, and I baerly ever went into the water. It was mostly because I almost drowned about 3 times...The third time required a local Navy Seal to rescue me from a rip current.
In Middle school I experienced an abusive P.E. teacher, a math teacher with a "torso-long" ponytail who what batshit crazy, science teacher who didnt believe in A's, and an english teacher who made fun of non-advanced students in reguard to their idiocracy and body oder. Also this school was only a couple miles away from the Mexican border, so alot of hispanic students who failed in their country came over here...
And now I am in my freshmen year of highschool with yet anoter group of crazy teachers.
Thats about it...

Any questions?
