I wish there was a larger variety of weapons in Skyrim, but mostly wish there were exotic ones that didn't look like an Axe/Sword/Mace/Staff/Hammer that you could use in combat. e.g. The severed leg in Morrowind's Bloodmoon expansion.
But particularly a whip. Because I want to hunt vampires in style. And with some proper physics tweaking it could look awesome too. I'd settle for flails though.

Every melee weapon involve slicing (maces being the exception) and its kinda annoying :P

The greatswords/battle axes/warhammers all share the same animations too. At least, from what i've seen of NPCs, since I don't use them myself.
And yeah I wanna see polearms make a return. Haven't been around since Morrowind.
