I explained why religious texts don't apply to homosexuality.

this exists. Doesn't matter, gay people in some cultures are still persecuted for it. So don't try and pretend it doesn't happen, it does.

Prejudices don't change whether or not something is immoral or not.

And? What is your point?

Which again asks my question (though I should add an addendum)
Is there anything intrinsically immoral about homosexuality?

No, not at all. As I said before, of course not.

You are asking me where in the bible it says to kill people for arbitrary reasons..?

In the New Testament, yes.

Where is what term defined? I used like 18 words in that that sentence... More specific pl0xx.

I still didn't understand what you meant.

If the law starting outlawing things because we didn't like them, and not because it was immoral, everything would be very backwards.

In some cases, not all. You just can't say every gay person was born with those genetics. I do believe some were born that way, I'm not gonna lie.

That fact that it is possible makes it so we can't discriminate against homosexuality as a whole just because not all of them aren't genetically homosexual. What if we were to outlaw heterosexuality because not all heterosexuals are genetically heterosexual?

So you're going to disregard the fact that Christians are opposing gay marriage when their religious texts don't even apply to modern homosexuality?
Religious texts matter.
And I know cultures are persecuting homosexuals. I know this is a bad thing, and I'm not pretending it doesn't happen.

And? What is your point?

You said that cultural issues were being ignored. the ones you mentioned don't matter

Hey, you don't get to pretend to be confused, you just quoted part of my post and said "where is this term defined? certainly not here". If you say such a nonsense phrase then you give up your right to be confused when people ask you what the heck you were talking about...

I'm asking you to say what you mean by "divine confirmation bias." But anyways, Christians that tend to pick and choose certain dogmas are technically heretics.

If all Christians are heretics, then is the term heretic even meaningful?
