For ToriWrestling, the mode will be the one invented by Stonewall and the members of [Spirit], known as "Amateur Wrestling" or "Spirit Wrestling". It will largely work the same way as their competition did. One of the changes is that this tourney is a complete free-for-all; no sign-ups, just show up at the right time.

In case you guys wanna practice up, here's the mode:

There are three ways to win a match:
By Points: have more points at the end of the fight than the opponent.
By Ring-out: Have the opponent touch the ground outside the ring.
By Pinfall: Pin any part of your opponent to the ground for 30 frames straight.

Points:
Loss - 0 points
Draw - 1 point (
Win by Points - 2 points
Win by Ringout - 3 points
Win by Pinfall - 4 points
ATTENTION, THIS RULE IS SPECIAL TO THE TORIOLYMPICS: IF YOU AND YOUR OPPONENT DRAWS, YOU WILL BOTH AUTOMATICALLY BE NUDGED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE QUEUE, IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO HAVE A REMATCH. TWO DRAWS IN A ROW GETS YOU FSPECCED AND FENTERED. This so that you will all always try your hardest to win.

The free-for-all will last for 100 minutes. After the 100 minutes, the 4 highest-score fighters with the most points will be selected for the finals. They will work in the following manner:
Semi Final 1: 1st vs. 4th
Semi Final 2: 2nd vs. 3rd
Bronze Final: Semi Final 1 loser vs. Semi Final 2 loser
Final: Semi Final 1 winner vs. Semi Final 2 winner'

In the finals, you will only fight one fight against eachother, however, wins by score (damage) will not count, only wins by ringout or pinfall.

Other, more general rules:
- Do not overswear, and particularly not at others.
- No racism or the like.
- NO CAPS.
- Easy on the spam.
- AFK wins do not count.
- Matches where the first round glitches will be reset.
- If you purposely spectate disconnect during your match, you risk being kicked from the tourney.
- I'm running this thing.

EVERYTHING ABOVE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. I WILL POST IF ANYTHING CHANGES. I WILL ALSO POST 1 HOUR BEFORE THE TOURNEY STARTS.

Now all that's left to say is: good luck, have fun ;)

I'm thinking that disqualification should be on, aswell.

This is wrong.
1st place should play 4th place and second should play 3rd.
The idea behind this is that the best qualifier gets the advantage of playing the worst qualifier (in theory at least). The way you have done it will mean that the second best qualifier will have the advantage of playing the worst qualifier, which is not fair on the person who did best in the free for all, because they deserve to play the easiest opponent in the semi finals.

You know, it used to be the way you describe it, since it's the standard setup for sports-related finals. Then, after discussing with some fellow ToriAgent(s), we figured that it would up the exitement factor if we did it the current way.

Now, I do realize that these tourneys are not made for the amusement of their respective refs, and to me, it doesn't really matter how the seedings are set up. I'll revert it back to the old style in order to keep it by the book. Although it might not be as exiting, it's definetly more fair :P
