Well, the ones that are super-inactive(and are not in the prolonged test period) will be kicked and instantly sent an invitation, so they can join whenever they're active again.

And the idea about a robot... is kinda interesting, but wouldn't it be a bit hard to draw it? I mean, ideally, all of us should participate and not every each of us is a good drawer.
