I have a grip sound, but can't hear it in multiplayer, nor freeplay, nor in replays.

I also have the kiai, win, and dq sounds, and they all work fine.

My grip sound is in the wave format, just shy of 1.5 sec long, and is normalized for good volume.

Is there something I am missing about grip sounds I should know about?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well what are version are you using??

I'm using version 4.4 on a Macbook pro.

All my other sounds work fine. I have tried everything I know, including checking in options, utilities, sounds, to make sure they are all checked on. Nothing is getting it to work.
