I still take texture requests for usd
I felt the mouth was to small so i made it a bit bigger im starting on the hair now

Hair probably will be snakes.

Looks pretty good if you ask me. Only problem I see is the mapping, eyes, mouth and nose widen too much in-game. This is a quick illustration as too why.

In other words, oval = circle in-game. So narrow your flat to get the right proportions in-game ;)

Kradel: That's your opinion. In my opinion i.e. Medusa was a seductress, she seduced her victims and then petrified them.
@Fenris its a little bit more complicate than that. your example is just for the exact centerline of the sphere. 1/4 way down a circle makes a pretty close circle

But yes eyes look a bit out of proportion. hair usually helps the eyes though so i would wait before doing final proportioning until everything is roughed in.
Ooh, didn't know. I usually don't have such detail beneath the centerline. hehe

Well, the smartest thing to do is make the lines first. A basic sketch>check in-game>fix>repeat
i updated the flat scales take forever

Any tips/thoughts on how to get a seemless top of the head without distorting one of the snakes?

once you get to the top 1/4 or 1/8th of the head make a new layer from visible, filters>distort>polar> draw on a new layer and then go from there. id go a snake or two over the head towards the back then convert back. just make the snake wide enough that it doesn't get molested by the shaders warping the top
