I think you did good not overcharging the image with more effects when you just started. The signature was too big so try to use a smaller size next time. The light and shadows weren't represented correctly in both images, you should probably practice more on that. Be careful with the placement of the text, it's very important when placing, don't place the text wherever you like; avoid using stylized font. The render needs to be the focal point of the image, placing it where you can't focus when looking at the image directly will make them image look less appealing and interesting.
