So, you're asking that if you have a primary and secondary color activated, but place a texture in your own custom folder (not uploaded though), will others see your gradients?

If that is your question, I believe the answer is yes. If you put a texture in your custom folder, I think you are the only one that will see it... all others will see what is supposed to be there, ie. your gradients.
