I actually don't know about that. Since naturally things get faster as they move downward. And seeing as you were moving at 75.10 prior to the launch, I can't see how letting gravity do the work for a record would cut it.

The high the object, and the weight of that object, with the default -9.82 would have it moving fast if it was falling from 278 height. (Sorry, you can do the math yourself. I'm not feeling very algebra right now)

Personally, I don't feel that's going to cut it as the record, but the throw is pretty legit, and congratz on that.
I'll add that in the morning.

If it was the case, then highest fall without dm would break the speed record.

its actually getting slower, the only reason why it got faster is because of those 3.44 (meters ?)
it is just my opinion , but the gravitiy is a part of the game ..

It has been decided in the past that highest speed record must be attained by the player, and the player must be "complete" (no dismembers on the tori). The reason for this is to prevent things like the glute glitch (you know, the one where a glute flies out at 200+) holding the record.

So that is to say that this replay, and style of replay is invalid for the highest speed record.
