Circumcision
Most of american boys are circumcised, But is there really a need for it?
People circumcise there male baby for religion, but if you are not jewish or muslim then why are christian males circumcised?

My POV on this topic is that circumcising your baby is wrong, because it is cutting off a sensitive piece of skin on the penis. People who are circumcised most likely had no choice too be circumcised because they were too young. Cutting the skin off has no purpose, if you really are worried about it getting infected or whatever then clean it.

I am a circumcised male but i started reading up on it and decided too make a discussion about it too see what other people think about it.
It's a health thing. circumcised males are at a much lower risk of getting urinary infections, having kidney issues because of these infections, are at a lower risk of contracting STDs from unprotected sex, and women with circumcised sexual partners are at a lower risk of these things as well.

It is done almost immediately after birth, and it is literally impossible for any human to remember the event due to the way brains work. Thirty seconds of extra work on the doctors' part to prevent seventy years of potential health problems? Yes please.
All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That’'s how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day.
I'm still waiting for those 'gender equality' warriors over at feminism to hurry up and put and end to this.

A risk that's already lower than 1%, and it only reduces the risk within the first 2 years. You are really going to mutilate someone's body for that? It's a little on the absurd side.

Why circumcise everyone just for that? Why not only if it's a real problem in the first place?

I think you are talking about the studies from Africa?

Are you really going to have sex with someone who has HIV just because you are circumcised so you are 30% less likely to contract it?

There's no proof that this works in the developed world FYI, so you are even gambling with your gamble!

Exactly what logic does that follow, if you weren't lazy as shit and roll the skin back like everyday to clean it, like you would any other body part those4 wouldn't be risks, and at what point is having an open flesh dick safer than having a hooded dick?

I don't think your sources are very accurate sir.

Well yeah that is true that there can be potential health problems but it would be a serious problem if this was 1960, all you need too do is was your genitals properly. The problem i have with this is that you cut the skin off when you are a baby and aren't capable too decide yourself.

This is a video from CollegeHumor which is a funny comedy skit but gives alot of intel of this subject:

I'm sure if you cut off your arm, you'd also have less of a chance of catching cancer in that arm - Of course you're lowering your risk of getting infections because you're cutting off parts of your penis. As for cleaning, I'm pretty sure we can all take a few minutes to rub under there when we shower.

Also, are you implying that there's not a STD risk anytime you have sex with a partner multiple times, circumcised or not?

They also have to use lube if they're not already juiced up down there, the foreskin acts as a natural lubricant during sexual intercourse.

It's also very traumatizing to babies, because the way they 'sleep' afterwards is actually passing out from pain.
