Surprisingly nice. I like the mix of warm and cold colours. I interpret it as ripples in a pond, with the sunrise reflected in it. But also with the darkness that comes from a deep lake. I think you were going for a parody of distance, because the sun's distance to the pond is underestimated, while the deepness of the water is exaggerated in a surrealistic manner.
Basically what you want to say with this piece is that we're a stressed society and we should care less about distances and more about what truly makes us human.
