Not a Gentleman
Just completed (maybe) my new forum avatar.
Some ideas like character's position and monsters' presence in the top hat came from iAwesome, so credits to him.
CnC is welcome, as well as suggestions for the background!
Don't steal, this isn't a free image.
Program used: Sketchbook Pro for an Android tablet.
I had to work with a larger image because the app didn't allow me to draw on a 150x200 canvas. Thanks Sketchbook.

I like it, it looks very interesting. But when I look at it I don't think dark 'gentleman' it looks more like dark character with just a metallic top hat. If you are still aiming for the 'gentleman' look it would be better to simply draw a gentleman and change a few things to make them look evil.
As far as background goes, I am not really a big fan of it. That's just my opinion but I feel like a contrast between the background and the person would be nice. I am not too sure on what at the moment but I will let you decide if you take that on board.

Background, i know, i've tried many possibilities: landscapes, tapestry, monochrome, but i can't find anything that fits the image. If it's too dark, the character mixes with the background, but i'd like not to change completely the style. I'm confused.
The current background is already suited with the character. You took the right choice to use a monochrome-ish thing for the background, it's because there are only black and white on the character (some red for the blood effect doesn't count[still dark]).

I didn't mean to change the style or add colors, between WIPs there is one with a grayish landscape.
Btw at the moment i'm more for keeping this one: the face pops up al lot thanks to the contrast and reinforces the general dark style. I might consider to make a new one if someone has a better idea.
