Take some ibuprofen, a cough drop, then lay down until it goes away if you don't want to see a doctor.

Although not leaving your house to see a doctor can cost you. You could have tonsil problems or something along the lines that needs medical attention.

also that's what i've been doing for the past few days
my head was hurting pretty bad the last few days, but my head is pretty much fine now, even though my throat is still pretty bad

Drink Anise alot, Stop talking much and Try to not drink any Cold thing, And you can call a doctor to ask him for the suitable medicine

You more than likely have Strep throat.

You need to see a doctor. I had strep 3 times in a month. Had to go to hospital since my temperature was close to fatal. Was not fun.
