Just add a /filteron and /filteroff function for people who hate the language, and then ban for intentional filter dodging.

We should not need filters.

Then why do we need staff to ban people you put the community at risk of coming off as unwelcoming or offensive? It doesn't make sense to me that staff are doing something which some simple coding could do (and probably do better). I just think that making the word reportable is not the most efficient way to deal with this issue. Let the context of what people say be what staff deal with, and what can be reported. Then let coding deal with language, then people can choose which words they are ok with seeing, rather than just throwing the whole community in the same boat.

That's why I suggested the filter can be turned on (and off) so people who don't give a shit about language can turn it off. I'm sorry that you can only read the first five words of a statement.
I think I might be retired.
