Allow users to create, but not reply to other threads on "Complain about staff"
Title.
They don't need to answer on the complaints that are not pointed towards them.
In my opinion, it should be between the staff/staff personnel and the user only.

Although sometimes other users give a good answer, it usually ends up with the staff's friends defending them.
I have nothing against it, but I think it should be between the user and the staff only.

Keeps things tidy, too.

Let them just make a new thread then.
It doesn't get a lot of threads anyway, so it wouldn't be too spammy.

The problem with this is that like in the 'discussions' and 'suggestions and ideas' thread people just tend to jump on the bandwagon, regardless if they actually have any real information on the subject. its kind of why the things like ban appeals, and scam reports can only be accessed by the person who started the thread and a moderator. Now a solution to this is to have a box that the Thread starter can edit that adds people to the conversation. Kind of how the PM 'list of people to recieve' box works. This Text box can be edited so that you can add a number of people who if you believe they have evidence to back up your case you can add them into the thread as needed. In order to gain this access you must have your name on that list.

This is just a really bad idea at the face of it, we have moderators for a reason and if a post doesn't belong somewhere press the report button to bring it to a moderators attention. A whitelist is a ridiculous idea, the bandwagon isn't as bad as you claim - if someone's making a claim and people are agreeing with them there is no bandwagon just more than one person with a problem. Now say someone has contradicting evidence that negates your complaint thread but they can't post it because why would you let them post on your thread only to disprove what you're saying? And please don't reply with "they could just pm a staff member" that's just adding a middle man in a situation that really doesn't need one.

Complaints about staff is fine as it is, could use more moderation sometimes but it serves its purpose. Board should be accessible for everyone and discussion with community as transparent as possible. If only more people read the stickies your problem would be non-existent, according to rules of mentioned board any complaint should be done after PMing staff member of your interest or his supervisior and if the thing wasn't resolved that way you have the right to bring it to public, making it completely private defeats the purpose.
We never wanted it to be private, just to not allow people who are not involved to post.
If nothing, this should be a -strict- rule.
Thoughts?
