Actually the current hit sounds are a sound for your tori getting hit.


Kinda supported but I think it's not that necessary since almost every time you deliever a hit your tori gonna take a little hit too, so it must be the same.

When the first time I bought the hit sound, I though it was a sound where your tori deliver an attack, were used wrong sounds because I think it's not suitable because it just weird when your tori getting hit and then your tori gonna scream "HEYYAA!!!", "TAKE THIS!!!". I remember someone using Kenshiro's "ATATATATATATATATA!!" sound.

hitting someone and getting hit are two entirely different thing

if you get hit you won't celebrate and if you hit someone you won't grunt in pain

basicly there is room for both
Well if the issue is both get git then it shpuld be the one that gets harder that makes the sound. Thisbis supported by me, but it obviously has some kinks to it, would be interesting.

I honestly like this idea. What's wrong with "giving your opponent hit sounds"? Whether it's you hitting the opponent, or the opponent hitting you. It's going to be a clutter of bullshit noises.

No one uses the Hitsounds correctly. People put shitty music and terribly noises that are painful to the ear. So technically. It'll be bad one way or another.

well actually, it's kind of going against their will to place hit sounds when they get damaged, even if they simply don't want to, there will be a certain person who has bought sounds for hitting the opponent and they have to just deal with it or turn their sounds off.
but it'll be worse off if there is another category of hit sounds. so it's better to choose the lesser evil and not implement this.

some ideas

1 these sound will only activate when you hit someone on the chest or head
so you will get punished for beeing punched hard in those vital areas
wich you should protect anyway

2 only hear the sound on very hard impacts (decap dismember or just the harderst punches etc)

3 when hitsounds and impact sounds are both activated the impact sound will be played only

4 volume limmit on impact sounds so the anoying sounds will not dominate over the other sounds in the game

5 shorter playsounds so anoying musics are out you can only make a short sentence or scream in

We don't need more sounds in toribash, they are already enough, and they aren't too good as they stand.
