I wouldn't call it clan-hopping as he was denied from all clans.
But for the future Lloyd, follow the application format that each clan has, they will mostly be completely different, and called for various parts of information about you, what you do, and why you want to join. Now just because we denied you doesn't mean give up on finding a clan, nor does it mean putting in minimum effort in an application because you feel you'll be denied. There is still hope, just keep tryin.
