I don't think that's proof of anything. What's more I don't even know wtf book that is that you are quoting.

Is this your only basis for believing that bisexuality isn't legitimate?

OK OK so i asked my psych teacher and he told me bisexuality is NOT a sexual orientation you are naturally drawn to one more than the other and what you like more is what your sexual orientation is you choose weather or not to participate in the other one

Oh god. And you trust in this theory even though (I assume) neither you nor your teacher have ever experienced it for yourselves?

Sexual orientation is just a way of making sense of and describing human desire and relationships which will always defy simple description. Why would there be a need for science to approve of other people's experiences?

I'd suggest going back and actually reading the posts in this thread, and maybe come back when/if you have a valid argument/sources.

Of course you may be attracted to one more than the other, I don't think that's important. Doesn't bisexual mean you exhibit attraction to both?

Ok so if I say that I am God, is there no need to provide proof? It's my experience, why does science need to approve?

Come on mate, science's "approval" is verification.

from what my teacher said no bisexuality isn't a sexual orientation and he also said that you are always going yo prefer one over the other i mean i don't have a degree in psychology so what am i going to do say hes wrong

approving of what? there is no approving involved in sexual orientation im just telling you what he told me maybe im just to dense but if science is approving of something that would mean it has bias right? since when do accepted facts have bias?

shiro i asked my teacher while yeah it's more of take my word for it thing it wouldn't make sense for me to make up bs over a topic like this and what am i suppose to be reading man what ive said was to contradict one of kyure's arguments with how sexual orientation actually works you think you would have known this if you read the posts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ while it is off from the subject it's still related to it

But you don't have any evidence right here to justify your opinions, you have the point of view of someone you respect because they have a certificate. I'm gay myself and I can tell you it's not just something you turn on and off, I can't be straight without acting like I enjoy it because it's not something I like, or am even attracted to girls. It's not a choice.

What ive said has nothing to do with wether it's a thing you turn off or no that's not what im trying to defend here the way it works is you will always like homosexuality or heterosexuality more what you like more is shat you identify as so saying you are bisexual while yeah you can use it do describe your sexual preferences if someone asks your sexual orientation it's heterosexual or homosexual all im saying m8 and If there wasn't any supporting evidence the teacher wouldn't be teaching it
