Not long after MC came out I bought a laptop for $80 new, and it ran MC fine. That was back in 09. Now just think about that, an $80 laptop 7 years ago could run MC fine.
If I remember correctly it was a Lenovo 100s, which is a series which is still being updated and can be scored between $100-200 afaik.
