I was in a heavy discussion with my friend last week now I would like to hear your opinions:

Would you like a KI to be existing, that is controlling and managing several sources at once ? For example like J.A.R.V.I.S. from the marvel universe.

Please argue detailed and don't just say you are against, say why you are against or why you are for it. Also you can write alternative solutions.

Why don't you summarise your point of view on it, to get the discussion started?

Yes. For example are you referring to a Strong AI or a Weak AI?

Well I am rather against giving a KI / AI / VI such power because when you want to create something that works independent the best example we have is a human, and we are not perfect. So when you make a KI work like a human, it will work willful and maybe unsecure. We don't want some siths like they are in star wars, really.

Well that's assuming it would be based on human intelligence including emotion.
I agree that there could be dangers, but most of the dangers are only a possibility if you were to give the AI control over a system of sum sort, like a hospital or the stock market.

I'm all for using weak AI to run systems. It's more efficient than people. But before we put a strong AI in a position with power over decisions concerning people, I think it would be safest to perfect the AI in an isolated environment.

Yes I want a automatic KI that is handling everything around me, even my toothbrush and of course I want a chip implanted so the KI can check my health status and modify.
