Your editing skills have drastically improved in the last three days or so.
Your syncing needs a little work, sometimes I feel the beat drops didn't meet quite up to the speedups.
You picked a wonderful song with wonderful replays. I would like to see some really cool colour correction put on the video.

First lets start with the sync: it got better during the progress tho but still missing
Try syncing beats instead of lyrics and stuff. Example by me:https://youtu.be/t3M7nQ0FwrM.

Now lets talk about the camera: don't be afraid of making it close to toris, it will make a big difference.
And try doing some creative angles to not make look boring.

The blurriness: don't use that much unless u are switching scenes. Generally son't set it too high.

i dont really get what you mean by creative angles, but about the blur, if you are talking about the first clip i used that to gain a 3d effect which imo works nicely, the third clips blur is to introduce the clip the blur in the 7th clip is kinda the same thing. thanks for the advice tho, i will take it to heart

how do i do colour corrections without it being cheesy?

Not too bad for a beginner, one more thing, please don't try to be like a certain editor, it's not going to help you improve for long, just look at tutorials and try to make cool effects and just overall improve your own editing and develop your own style, it's best to incorporate what you like into your own edits.

I attempted to do exactly what you did and as soon as I stopped I was improving rapidly but my progress has came to a halt hence why I have stopped editing for just over a year.
