Why would you be searching banned players?

Cause before dueling for 200+k you'd like to check if they have a clean record or not?

All duels are alts vs more alts so i dont see why it would help

We're not giving users the ability to check peoples alts.

Or ask a staff member in IRC or PM.

Search bar for ban lists I have no real opinion over. It's not important but I can't really think of a reason why anyone else would want to know unban dates and ban reasons if the first has minimal relevance ever of its not your acc (and if it is, it tells you when on the login).

The second is only occasionally your business past the one line put in the public view. But really, if someone has a banned acc, you shouldn't take their word for anything. A staff member will be willing to point out why someone is banned if you need to know.

Also x2. The ban list only shows current banned accs. You won't find expired bans on that list, so you can't search someones ban history from there. So if you're wanting to find a persons ban history, ask a staff member, but understand that we probably won't tell you anything that you don't NEED to know.

I do not believe this is a necessary thing for a player to do.
I mean you could always ask staff why someone got banned, but all in all, it is really no one's business outside of staff in the first place.
Sure this would help snuff out past offenses players have committed for a clan recruitment.
But, it is a feature I deem unimportant. (but who cares what I think)

So we're allowed to view the ban list, but we can't search for players? How is searching for a banned player a bad thing?
