HTOTM: FUSION
The problem is that people don't tend to see/bother using the thread rating button. I can remember looking through different sub-forums and only seeing one or two threads with any ratings on at all. Would it be simple and/or worth it to make another thread rating button in a more noticable place, say for example, right next to the reply box? It might encourage people to use it more.

However, this could also restart the type of behaviour that caused the karma/rep system to be removed. A certain crowd hating on one member could end up with all of his/her thread ratings through the floor.

This is all me trying to think clearly in the early hours of the morning though so I'm sorry if any of this doesn't make sense to you. Just thought I'd get some ideas down.

well... I thought so, but somebody may have removed it if suomynona has just enabled it.

It's too bad, but if this was a smaller community, moderators might've had a chance to have a better relationship with "the people". But a large portion of this community is ignorant. There are rules that needs to be followed, like it or not; and sometimes, you have to go the extra mile to make a person understand that if he doesn't shape up, he's going to get banned. That's not about threatening with a ban, it's WARNING with a ban. Anyway, I've gone far off topic enough.

Like others probably said (I didn't read through 99 pages) we could have a reward system like this: if enough people vote "approve" on your post, or your thread
you'll get 10 tc, doubling every fifth voter. So 1=10, 5=20, 10=40.
(Note: Maybe double it from the start when it comes to threads?)

The issue with above idea is the same as below, it will get abused to no ends. But that's the best "voting"-idea I could come up with anyway. But if you give the mods a REWARD button next to the infract button, and it's a couple of hundred tc's?

Everything we would do to implement something for bad posts would get abused, sorry.

I'd say throw a "Rate This Post Epic" button for the moderators, with variable prizes, and not in Clan Forums (please), so that we can give out prizes to our little friendly people.

And make it add a little gold unremovable star saying that the post is awesome, or whatnot.
Squad Squad Squad lead?
The standardization of Toribash Squad roles may have gone too far!

Is it supposed to ask you to vote every time you view the thread? If so, that could be good, because I just voted bad on the food thread...then I posted in it and realized it wasn't all too terribly bad.
