How about a thing where the person who posted there post if they think its just pure awesome epic can send it in to a review thingy for mods/admins and then they can decide if it really was good, but if they can remove the feature from certain people if they spam all the shit threads theyve made.

Very unlikely. We're busy enough as it is, without having to go through every bullshit "hey reward me" request that will undoubtably come. If a reward system were to be implemented, it would 1. be decided strictly by moderators and 2. have to not create more work. Perhaps another button next to the infraction button, to reward.

Although I do like the idea of infractions/bans taking away X% of a user's TCs.

This thread title does say REWARDS. The ideas posted here need to be rewards, and that's why its a horrible idea to take away TC from them when we infract. We need to convince them to follow the rules, not beat them into it.

That's why rewarding people for good posts is a better idea than punishing them MORE STRICTLY for bad posts.

I think if a karma system was reinstated, a lot of users would be surprised to see how low/bad theirs went... which might be a good thing.

The karma system did not actually work. People who made art, textures, or mods were be given karma from everybody who thought their picture or store was cool (LonelyDucky, if you remember). Implementing that now would be strange, because those who are posting threads would not gain as much karma as those who only post art. Also, if people merely disagreed, they would vote down each other's karma (the majority of users are that immature), so it would not be a measure of how good a poster they were.

Of course it's great to give people rewards for content that they submit, but we are looking for a solution to improve the quality of posting here, not how to reward users for their art or mods.

The taking away toricredits idea is HORRIBLE, toricredits have NOTHING to do with the effing forum, you cant get toricredits from the forum, why would you be able to lose them, and for making a bad post? I'm sure if that happened, allot of people just wouldnt post in fear of being ROBBED BY RICH BASTARDS

There would be no rich bastards robbing people, their credits would simply be destroyed. You may not be able to gain credits from the forums, but you do sell items, trade items/toricredits, apply for tournaments, join clans, run stores, and do everything related to Toribash through the forums. So it would make sense if someone lost money through these forums by being a dumbass on them.
